Although the Willet distilling company is most well known for producing old Bardstown and small batch bourbons like Noah’s Mill, they didn’t start making their own whiskey until 2008. The pot still Willet received an incredible response from Whiskey aficionados and experts alike.
TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Dark copper.
Nose: Oak, Nutty, Spicy, Nutmeg, Corn.
Taste: Banana, Honey, Butterscotch, Vanilla, Charred Oak.
Finish: The rye comes through, with notes of oak and cinnamon.
Overall: The anticipation of Willet finally releasing a bourbon with their own name on it has been worth the wait. A must try for any bourbon enthusiast.
