Cocktail Making Classes: WRY Masterclass

On 17th August we hosted one of our classic cocktail making classes in London, with a bit of a twist, as we collaborated with WRY Vodka for the evening as part of their White Label Project.

The White Label Project was designed to encourage people to use their product as a blank canvas upon which to build their recipes. A 100% rye grain spirit, WRY Vodka is the perfect premium base, re-distilled with a small amount of rye malt to add a sweet, creamy mouth-feel.

Our expert mixologists played host for the event, guiding guests through making their very own vodka infusions – using WRY Vodka as a base – before putting them through their paces, tasking them to create a selection of bespoke cocktails using their very own newly infused vodka.

That wasn’t before our guests received a complimentary welcome cocktail upon arrival, and were taken through a brief history of vodka with renowned industry expert, Stuart Bale.

As with all our cocktail making classes, the event was fully interactive. All our classes focus on 100% involvement – every guest got to use fine liquor, fresh ingredients and specialist equipment to make their own cocktails in their own area behind one of our custom-built cocktail bars.

At the conclusion of the class, with each guest having infused their own vodka and created two of their very own cocktail creations, they were invited down into our Cellar Bar where they danced the night away to the Disco sounds of Bobby Pleasure – with a complimentary cocktail on us!
