How to make ...
The Winter Warmer
The seasonal Christmas welcome drink for our virtual classes is a sophisticated tipple for the cooler months. Golden rum, with hints of molasses, sugar cane and a light hint of citrus plays beautifully with herbaceous vermouth. Banana liquor lifts this festive cocktail and adds an edge of playfulness. A sure-fire hit to kick things off.

Method
Start by chilling a rocks glass in a freezer or by filling with ice.
Add all the ingredients to your Boston tin (the metal half of your shaker) and fill with cubed ice. A water jug or large stirring glass would also do the trick.
Using your bar spoon, gently stir. Keep the back of the spoon pressed against the inside of your container as you do so.
Remove the ice from your rocks glass, or take it out the freezer.
Grab a strainer and strain into the rocks glass over cubed ice.
