Nikka Whisky are celebrating their 90th anniversary at TT! We’ll be hosting 90 days of Nikka celebration over September, October and November with guest cocktail menus, music, films and food.
Nikka Whisky is one of Japan’s most prolific and highly regarded whisky distilleries, established 90 years ago by the godfather of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru, Nikka continues to produce some of the finest whisky coming out of Japan alongside exceptional gin and vodka.

NIKKA 90TH ANNIVERSARY - SEP, OCT & NOV
We’ve partnered with Nikka to help celebrate their 90th anniversary with 90 days of cocktails and events at TT. Our 90th anniversary celebrations begin in September when we’ll be running a two week guest menu featuring some exceptional, original Nikka cocktails in our Cellar Bar and kicking things off with a launch night on Thursday the 19th, where we’ll be turning our subterranean cocktail bar into a Japanese-style ‘Jazz Kissa’.
In October, Nikka will be taking over our cinema for two weeks to show 8 of their favourite films paired with a menu of Nikka cocktails for cinema-goers to choose from. And in November, we’ll be running our Jazz Kissa weekly in our ground floor Café & Bar, with DJs spinning Japanese records from end to end accompanied by a special menu of Nikka cocktails and Japanese-inspired small plates.
SEPTEMBER
NIKKA GUEST MENU AND JAZZ KISSA LAUNCH PARTY
In September we’re kicking off our Nikka 90th Anniversary celebrations with the launch of the TT Jazz Kissa, a very special evening celebrating the legacy of Nikka Whisky through an immersive experience of music and culture. Selectors Ayana Homma from ‘Jazzy Sports’ and Alma will be taking us on a journey through Japanese records, exploring different eras, styles and movements. The setting will resemble a Jazz Kissa: specialised bars in Japan where whisky and music take centre stage.
Come and enjoy a listening experience through a hi-fidelity system while enjoying the flavours of Nikka Whisky.
Thursday 19th of September from 6pm. Free entry.
OCTOBER
NIKKA CINEMA TAKEOVER
In October, Nikka will be taking over the TT Cinema for two weeks playing a selection of their favourite films accompanied by a menu of original Nikka cocktails. Check back for film listings, tickets and more info.
NOVEMBER
JAZZ KISSA IN THE GROUND FLOOR WITH COCKTAILS, MUSIC AND FOOD – EVERY THURSDAY
November will see the return of our Jazz Kissa on an even larger scale, Alma and the guys from Jazzy Sports will be taking over a space in TT once a week to host an evening of Japanese records and Nikka cocktails with special Japanese-style dishes from our kitchen to accompany the drinks and the music.
