Press Watch: TT Cinema, London Planner

London’s latest independent cinema – our new 52-seater theatre space, tucked away behind our liquor store on Kingsland Road – has been the recipient of some positive press over the past few days.
London Planner have featured us in their July issue of the tourist guide, in the nightlife section, with a piece entitled ‘Movie Magic’.
They write:
“The bar has transformed the space behind its specialist off-licence into a 52-seater cinema, which will host monthly film nights showing cult classics. The bar’s mixologists will whip up drinks inspired by each film – so try sipping a White Russian while watching the Coen brothers’ crime comedy The Big Lebowski.”
The piece even included a cameo from our co-owner Stephen Thompson, who talked a bit about the project.
London Planner, the print-facing side of visitlondon.com, is a London tourist guide aimed at visitors weeks ahead of their arrival in the city.
