EAST LONDON LIQUOR CO. BATCH 2 GIN CHALLENGE
Gin tasting was the flavour of the day as TT Liquor took part in East London Liquor Company's Batch 2 challenge as part of Negroni Week.
This year saw the celebrations of Negroni week reach the shores of the UK, and the doors of TT Liquor, for the very first time.
Negroni Week launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charities around the world.
For one week every June, bar and restaurants mix classic Negronis and Negroni variations for a great cause of their choice.
TT Liquor’s expert mixologists took part in it’s inaugural year by putting forward a cocktail for the East London Liquor Company’s Batch 2 challenge.
We were one of 13 bars and restaurants to take part in the challenge, which was to create a bespoke cocktail that featured East London Liquor Batch 2 premium gin.
After a series of East London gin tasting and flavour profiling, our expert bartenders started putting together their creation.
It was our very own Artur who took up the challenge, and offered up his ‘Bittercream Negroni’.
This year’s celebrations were a great success, with over half a million pounds being raised worldwide over the course of the week.

25ml lillet blanc
25ml ELLC Batch 2 cinnamon
15ml egg yolk
15ml egg white
7ml black seal rum
