REVIEW: TANQUERAY TABLE GIN & DINE CLUB
By TATTON & THOMPSON
Tanqueray gin was the flavour of the night last weekend as we hosted mother-daughter team, Andi and Miquita Oliver, for two nights of the Tanqueray Table – a new gin and dine supper-club that proved to be an immersive twist on the traditional.
Across both evenings the gin very much took centre stage, with Tanqueray-based cocktail pairings being served in our West Wing banqueting space alongside Andi’s innovative platters, all of which were inspired by the unique botanical flavours of the famous spirit.
Juniper, coriander, angelica root and liquorice all got their say as the night started with cured and roasted halibut, followed by coriander and juniper confit duck, finished off with a very special chocolate tart with Tanqueray and spiced pear.
Miquita, meanwhile, was tasked with providing her first ever cocktail pairing menu, which kicked off with a punchy take on the classic Martini, followed by a T&T (Tanqueray & Tonic, of course), all wrapped up with the Tanqueray & Thyme – a blend of lemon sorbet and Prosecco – ensuring the experience ended with a touch of effervescence.
